Changeover day is Friday except on 23rd and 30th December 2010, when changeover will be Thursday. Short breaks are available other than in peak weeks.

Booking and Terms and Conditions

Bookings run from 3.00 pm on the Friday to 10.00 am of the following week, and guests are asked to leave promptly so that The Coach House can be thoroughly cleaned for the incoming guests. Prices, for occupancy of up to four people, are shown on the Calendar. The Coach House sleeps four but, if necessary, there is an ability for two more to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Where the occupancy is more than four (and it may never be more than six), there is a surcharge of £100 per week. Stays of less than a week can be considered out of season, or where there are vacancies and bookings are taken within three weeks of arrival – prices charges are pro-rata the weekly rate plus £50.

Whilst the availability chart on the web-site gives an indication of availability, it may not always be totally up-to-date. Please email or telephone and we can confirm availability. Your reservation will be held for seven days for us to receive a non-refundable booking deposit of £100.00. This deposit can be paid by cheque or by direct transfer to our bank account – details of which will be given at the time of booking.

The balance for the cost of your stay is due four weeks before you are due to arrive and, at this stage, a breakage/damage deposit of £100.00 is payable. Once your booking deposit has been received we will write to you to confirm the booking, give you details of the balance required and the due date for payment of the balance. Your breakage/damage deposit will be repaid to you within one week of your departure less the cost of any breakages or damage caused.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation after receipt of your booking deposit, but before the balance of your stay has been paid, you will forfeit the booking deposit. Where payment in full has been made, we will attempt to re-let The Coach House and, if successful, an appropriate refund will be made; booking deposits are non-refundable but breakage/damage deposits will be repaid.

Guests are recommended to take out appropriate holiday cancellation insurance to protect themselves if you are obliged to cancel your holiday.

Your Stay

The price of your stay includes electricity, heating, tea towels, bed linen and towels for use in the Coach House. Please bring your own swimming towels.

Liability

The hirer takes responsibility, including responsibility for any other persons accompanying him/her, for any loss, injury or damage suffered by the hirer or those accompanying him/her while in or around The Coach House, except where such loss, injury or damage is directly due to the acts or omissions of the owners.

The hirer agrees to keep The Coach House and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the accommodation in the same state of repair as at the start of the let and undertakes to make good any damage breakage or loss during the let.

The hirer undertakes to ensure that The Coach House is securely locked when left unoccupied during your stay.

If, for any reason (eg fire or storm damage) The Coach House is not available on the date booked, the owners will refund all monies paid by the hirer. However, the owners shall not be liable for any loss, expense, or inconvenience resulting from such unavailability and the hirer will have no claim against the owners.

Restrictions

We do not accept children under sixteen or any animals (other than assistance dogs by prior arrangement) and The Coach House is STRICTLY NON SMOKING.

If you do have cause for complaint or wish to make suggestions, please feel free to contact the owners. It would be helpful if you can telephone the owners the day before you arrive to indicate your likely time of arrival.
