Location

Staunton is on the A4136, three miles from Monmouth (there are two Stauntons in the area so please make sure you come to the right one!).

If you are coming from the Gloucester or Coleford direction, you will arrive at Staunton on the A4136 and pass the church on your right; keep on the main road until you pass the White Horse pub on your left. Take the next left turn (which is marked as a dead end). Follow this lane through the gate; The Buckstone Coach House is behind the wrought iron gates at the end of the wall; drive in through the gates.

If you are coming from Monmouth (or from South Wales or from the M50) cross the Wye at Monmouth and follow signs for A4136 to Gloucester. You will climb steadily out of Monmouth for about three miles. Shortly after being welcomed to England and The Forest of Dean, you will come to some rumble strips and the sign for Staunton. Immediately after the end of the rumble strips, at the brow of the hill, turn right (if you get to The White Horse, you have missed the turning!).
Follow this lane through the gate; The Coach House is behind the wrought iron gates at the end of the wall; drive in through the gates.
